While attending a recent funeral of an aunt, my brother Don, and I, were speaking to a cousin Christine Miller, who lives in Mona, Utah, near the old Cheney Ranch.  She told us her teenage daughter pointed out that Elam will be turning 200 years old next year.  It was suggested that we have a family reunion to celebrate.  So here we are!  Getting the word out to all the decendents of Elam Cheney to gather at his former homestead in Mona, Utah, on his birthday weekend.

I am the great, great, great granddaughter of Elam through his second wife Margaret Wimmer.
